Our inaugural MLC Conference brought together colleagues, leaders and practitioners from across the country for two days of purposeful conversation, collaboration and shared learning. The event created a powerful space for reflection on the challenges facing education today, while celebrating the collective expertise and commitment within our sector.

Across keynote sessions, panel discussions and collaborative workshops, a consistent theme emerged: none of us are doing this work alone. Delegates exchanged practical ideas, discussed the realities of leading in a high‑accountability system, and explored strategies to strengthen practice across schools and trusts. The atmosphere throughout was one of generosity, honesty and professional unity.

We were delighted to welcome a wide range of contributors who enriched the conference with expertise, personal insight and thought‑provoking perspectives. Their contributions helped shape two days that were energising, ambitious and rooted in our shared moral purpose ,supporting young people to thrive.
